Welcome back! Things I have learned in this podcasting journey include the need for a hiatus during the summer. Trying to work in masks with heat indexes in the triple digits completely wiped me out. So thank you for not giving up on me, and we are back to it with the end of the Sharknado marathon! Also in the intro I say that the podcast is released on Wednesdays, but it’s still Thursdays.
I really got a kick out of these, although all of the Aprils started to give me a headache at the end. I needed a chart. I also love how I take everything in the stride until the smart car in Rome, and that’s when I start to argue that the movie is not accurately portraying something.

Also, you know I am woefully out of touch with the entertainment industry today when I recognized Samantha Fox but had no clue who Clay Aiken was until I looked him up when I read the credits. There are also a lot of jumping around and dangling pronouns, both in the movies and in my commentary. For instance, Geraldo played Dr. Angel, not Dr. Angel’s female assistant.
Both movies were released by SyFy and were directed by Anthony Ferrante and written by Scotty Mullen and star Ian Ziering as Fin, Tara Reid as April, and Cassandra Scerbo as Nova. Sharknado 5: Global Swarming came out in 2017 and also stars Billy Barratt as Gil. The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time was released in 2018 and brings back Judah Friedlander as Bryan, Viveca A. Fox as Skye, and Chris Owen as Gil. I watched all of the Sharknado movies on Amazon Prime.
