This is such a fun movie to watch. It’s simple, funny, and it’s actually good. This one was suggested by Jason, and it was a nice break from the horrorfest of this week.
I was pleasantly surprised at the finished result for the recording. It felt like we were way too invested in the movie and not providing enough interaction, but we pulled it off. By “we”, I mean Alicia and me. It’s one of her favorite movies. I had to drag her into this with me.
This came out in 2014 from Unison Films. It was written and directed by Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi, who star as Vlad and Viago respectively along with Jonny Brugh as Deacon, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer as Nick, Stu Rutherford as Stu, and Ben Fransham as Petyr. I know Petyr wasn’t really a starring role, but he was our favorite, so I have to include him here.
