Well, thanks to covid wreaking havoc in various parts of life and a broken heater, I am completely off schedule. So this episode will cover last week and this week, and hopefully I’ll get some good recording and episodes lined up to get back on track. Meanwhile, I give you the ultimate so-bad-it’s-good movie!
This was just a gloriously bad movie. I’m so happy I found it again. I forgot that I watched it eons ago. You could do a drinking game for this episode and drink every time I say, “moving on” after getting side tracked by rants on how bad Skeletor’s make up looks or any of the huge massive plot holes or Skeletor’s convoluted plans (seriously, you had victory in your grasp and threw it all away. WTF, Skeletor?! Moving on…).
This came out in 1987 and stars Dolph Lundgren as He-Man, Frank Langella as Skeletor (he is amazing, by the way. His makeup… not so much), Meg Foster as Evil-Lyn, Billy Barty as Gwildor, Chelsea Field as Teela, Jon Cypher as Man at Arms, Courtney Cox as Julie, and Robert Duncan McNeill as Kevin.
