Sharks of the Corn

Betsy Watches Sharks of the Corn Copyright 2023

First of all, I would like to give a shout out to Amanda Healy and Zoey Bush. Their death scenes were fantastic, and they, for the very short time they were on the screen, were my favorite part of this movie. Also Zoey Bush’s character’s name is supposed to be Biff, but when Angel runs back to the mob boss and says, “they got Joey and Zoey”, that came off with a lot more of the tongue-in-cheek, dry humor I got out of this movie. I actually thought it was intentional and laughed.

This epitomizes “so bad it’s good”. You have to watch this if you love over the top ridiculousness that doesn’t even try to come off as realistic.

This came out in 2021 from Twisted Illusions and was written and directed by Tim Ritter, who also brings us such classics as Zombarella’s House of Whorrors, Natasha Nighty’s Boudoir of Blood, Earth Girls are Sleazy, and, my personal favorite and one that made my podcasting schedule, Catnado. It stars Shannon Stockin as Chief Scheider, Lorna, the Shark Goddess, and a redneck, Steve Guynn as Teddy Bo Lucas, Casey Miracle as Benchley, and Ford Windstar as Jonathon Gottlieb.
