To give you an idea of how bad this movie is, I watched it in the middle of October in 2023. That’s how much I dreaded listening to the recording. It is on par with The Room or Bloodrayne for being a terrible movie, and I think the 19% on Rotten Tomatoes is actually very generous.
This travesty came out in 2001 from New Line Cinemas. It was directed by Jim Isaac and written by Todd Farmer. It stars Kane Hodder as Jason, Lexa Doig as Rowan, David Croninberg as Dr. Wimmer, and Peter Mensah as Brodi, which made me sad because he’s a very good actor who deserved better. Also I kept referring to him as Jason Mensah, probably because my brain didn’t want him to actually be there.
So yeah, Listen to this episode so you never have to watch it, and yes, Streetfighter is coming soon whenever I can bring myself to pay to rent it once again.
